CAUTION
Ticinex Kid 100 mg/50 mg Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).
WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS
Ticinex Kid 100 mg/50 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Ticinex Kid 100 mg/50 mg Tablet is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Ticinex Kid 100 mg/50 mg Tablet can cause fits, mental health problems and optic neuritis (inflammation of the optic nerve that may cause loss of vision.) This may affect your driving ability.

Ticinex Kid 100 mg/50 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ticinex Kid 100 mg/50 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

How to use Koflinctus Syrup
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Koflinctus Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Take it with food if stomach upset occurs.
How to use Ticinex Kid Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ticinex Kid 100 mg/50 mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.Avoid Ticinex Kid 100 mg/50 mg Tablet with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.
How Koflinctus Syrup works
Koflinctus Syrup is a combination of four medicines: Ammonium chloride, chlorpheniramine, dextromethorphan and guaifenesin which relieve cough and cold symptoms. Ammonium chloride and guaifenesin are expectorants which decrease the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and help in its removal from the airways. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain.
How Ticinex Kid 100 mg/50 mg Tablet works
Ticinex Kid 100 mg/50 mg Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Rifampicin and isoniazid which treat tuberculosis. Rifampicin works by inactivating a bacterial enzyme (RNA-polymerase) which is required by TB bacteria to make essential proteins and to reproduce. Isoniazid prevents the TB-causing bacteria from forming their own protective covering. Together, they kill the bacteria and eradicate the infection.
